The Big Lake EDC is accepting bids for the replacement of existing roof of retail/food establishment.
Place of business/Address: 105 N. Georgia Ave, Big Lake, Tx

Scope of work: Roof replacement/New roof
Warranty: 10 year parts and labor - minimum
Bid must be received by: June 12, 2025 - 5:00 pm
Bid award meeting: June 12, 2025 - during open meeting (or next meeting immediately following if no quorum present)
Description: Winning bidder will remove or cover existing roof and replace with commercial grade metal material and replace any removed insulation equivalent to existing grade . All demolition material will be removed from property and properly disposed of in a legally designated spot. All permits and fees will be the responsibility of the winning bidder.
Any/All damage incurred to existing building as a result of construction will be repaired and/or replaced by winning bidder at winning bidder's expense.
All construction and demolition/material removal must be completed within 3 days to minimize closure of business during construction unless prior notification is given to and approved by the Board of Directors.

The Big Lake EDC is accepting bids for a public event to be hosted by Big Lake EDC in conjunction with The Governor's Office of Texas.
Place of event/address: Reagan County Community Bldg, Big Lake, Tx
Date of event: August 21, 2025 @ 12:00 noon
Type of event: Professional Business Meeting
Scope of work: Cater lunch for up to 250 people - self service/buffet style
Requested Menu: Beef/Chicken Fajitas w/associated trimmings, beans, rice, salad, dessert, tea
Bid must be received by: July 10,2025 - 5:00 pm
Bid award meeting: July 10, 2025 - during open meeting (or next meeting immediately following if no quorum present)
Description: Winning bidder will purchase all menu items and prepare requested menu. Meal must be prepared and ready to serve at 12:00 noon. Menu consists of beef and/or chicken fajitas w/associated trimmings, beans, rice, salad, and dessert. Unsweet tea and water, at minimum, must be included. All add-ons and condiments to be included in bid. Additional menu items may be included and may assist in decision making. All disposable dishware (including plates and cups), utensils, and other paper goods shall be included in bid. Disposable eating utensils and dishware must be of "better" to "best" strength quality. Table coverings are not required.
All remaining food and products will be property of Big Lake EDC.

Bids received after the specified date and time will not be considered, regardless of circumstances, unless no bid is awarded at designated meeting. If no bid is awarded, all submitted bidders will be notified of the reason and they will be given the opportunity to resubmit an updated bid or continue with previously submitted bid.
